A BARGAIN shopper has shared the thrift find of their wildest dreams.
If there was any initial doubt about her fashion steal, it was eradicated at the sight of the original price tag.
Redditor ClassicPalpitation52 shared the thrift haul in a viral post.
“Found my dream brand to have in my closet,” they wrote.
They shared a close-up of a Zimmermann brand creamsicle-colored dress with a seashell belt.
The original price tag revealed that the dress originally retailed for $1,150.
People were shocked by her find and the exorbitant original value.
“Holy moly! $1,150? Great find!” said one commenter.
“This is beautiful! I wish I had the kind of money to buy a $1,000 dress and then never wear it,” joked another.
“Wow! One sold on eBay new with tags for $450. Great find, congrats!” said a third.
The Redditor admitted that they had no idea of the dress’s true value until after they had already made the purchase.
“I didn’t even know it has tags [until] I got home,” they said.
“Nice find! I love Zimmermann! I bought a bathing suit by them,” said another.
“It fits perfectly and is gorgeous.”
Other Zimmermann fans came out of the woodwork to praise their find.
“Wow! Zimmermann consistently has great resort wear. Excellent find, boo!” said one.
One viewer shared that they’d seen the same dress worn on television.
“Girl, guess who just wore this dress on [The Real Housewives of New Jersey]?” they asked.
“This week’s premiere has Teresa wearing this exact dress in the first episode.
“I had to come find this post to tell you.”
Though they weren’t quite sure initially, the seashell belt was a dead giveaway.
“The belt cinched it for me…lol,” they said.
“When I saw the shell belt buckle, I knew. Nice find.”
