The Ninth Circuit on Tuesday declined to weigh in on a group of cases asking whether Apple Inc., Google LLC, and Meta Platforms Inc. can be held liable for hosting illegal gambling games on their app stores.
A three-judge panel for the San Francisco-based federal appeals court found that it didn’t have jurisdiction to hear the cases because they were fast-tracked to the court before US District Judge Edward Davila reached a final dismissal decision in the cases.
