Youngsters got creative in a craft competition – which marked a shopping centre’s special birthday.
Springfields Outlet Shopping and Leisure in Spalding, celebrated the area’s young talent, after launching a ‘Design a Card’ competition.
As part of the popular chocolate trail event, which took place over Easter, children were asked to create and design a birthday card to mark 20 years of business.
First place was awarded to Austin, 10, of Surfleet, who won a Nintendo Switch Gaming Bundle. Freddie, 11, of Spalding, came second place and was given a £25 Springfields gift card and Charlie, 5, of Wisbech, received a Cadbury outlet chocolate hamper for third place.
Springfields Retail Director Simon Stone says: “It has been a pleasure viewing so many fantastic entries for this competition. We are delighted that so many talented children have been inspired to create the most wonderful cards.
“We would like to thank everyone that entered and wished Springfields a happy birthday, as we look forward to celebrating our 20 years as the East of England’s leading shopping and leisure destination.”
The shopping centre is set to celebrate it’s birthday in the upcoming months – with one event set to giveaway a customers with a brand new MG3 Hybrid plus car.
