The show saw comedian Joel Dommett return as hosts with Jonathan Ross, Divina McCall, Mo Gilligan, and new judge Maya Jama
At the start of the new series, it was revealed who was under the mask of giant Joel from The Masked Singer Christmas Special, revealing Olympic Champion Sir Mo Farah under the mask who also joined the judging panel.

Although the first show of the series got off to a big start, many viewers were quick to share a major complaint with The Masked Singer.
Viewers of The Masked Singer have huge complaints about ITV show
The mass of complaints came as the ITV show left the unmasking of the loser of this week, Spaghetti Bolognese, as a cliffhanger.
It came as host Joel Dommett announced that viewers would have to tune into ITV on Sunday evening to find out who is behind the mask in the next episode of The Masked Singer.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one ITV viewer said: “I’m being forced to wait a day just to see a spag bol be unmasked.”
