Primark is set to open its highly-anticipated new store at Teesside Park on Wednesday.
Set across two floors and measuring 37,100 sq ft, customers will be able to shop the bestselling Primark products across clothing, kidswear, beauty, lifestyle and home. The new store has created over 180 new jobs on Teesside, under store manager Eddie Burns, who has been with Primark for more than 20 years.
Inside customers can find Primark’s latest store design including wide walkways, modern fixtures and fittings, and a bright and spacious feel, as well as self-service checkout tills alongside the standard manned tills to give customers greater choice and speed of service.
Primark Teesside Park store manager Eddie Burns said: “We have finally landed in Teesside Park and I could not be happier. This store has been a labour of love for both myself and the brilliant team I have beside me and it is so exciting to see it all come together.
“The response from the local community has been so positive and we can’t wait for our customers to visit and see what we have in store for them.”
Primark Teesside Park is Primark’s 194th store in the UK and opens just months after its new Bury St Edmund’s store and the extensions to both its Westfield Stratford store and Gateshead Metrocentre store. The opening forms part of Primark’s £100m investment in UK stores this year, as it celebrates 50 years in Great Britain.
These pictures show a sneak preview of the new store which will welcome customers from 10am, in true Primark style with a live DJ to set the atmosphere.
