Members of the Royal Family were pictured making their way to St Mary Magdalene Church for the annual Christmas Day service.

As well as King Charles and Queen Camilla, other members of the family stepped out to welcome the start of today’s festivities.

Walking closely behind the King and Queen were the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

The family of five all beamed as they waved to the crowds of spectators lining the route to the church, which is located a short distance from Sandringham House.

They were joined by a host of senior royals, including the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne and a pregnant Princess Beatrice.

Princess Anne was also joined by her husband Sir Timothy Laurence. The 74-year-old’s daughter Zara Tindall was also present with her family.

Walking alongside Zara’s husband Mike was the couple’s eldest daughter, 10-year-old Mia. The couple’s youngest daughter, six-year-old Lena was pictured walking with her mum.

Anne’s son Peter Phillips also joined the festive walkabout with his two daughters, Savannah, who will turn 14 later this week, and Isla, 12.

Joining Princess Beatrice, who is due to give birth to her second child next year, was her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Although they left three-year-old Sienna at home, the couple were joined by Edoardo’s son, Wolfie.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh also joined the festive walk, alongside their two children.

Lady Louise Windsor returned home from university in Scotland to join her family for Christmas. The 21-year-old, who is a student at St Andrew’s University, appeared to surprise royal fans with how grown up she looked.

James, Earl of Wessex, who recently celebrated his 17th birthday, also stepped out alongside his parents and older sister.
