Prince Louis reportedly had a sweet 6-word message for his mum, Princess Kate, during the annual Christmas carol service.
The Christmas carol service will air tonight at 7.30pm on ITV, with many Brits tuning in to see what has become an important part of the royal Christmas tradition across the UK.
Six-year-old Prince Louis attended the event, which took place on December 6, alongside his siblings and parents. During the service, the adorable young royal appeared to exchange a few words with the Princess of Wales, as shown in an adorable teaser video for her carol concert, a lip reader has claimed to The Sun.
In the video shared on social media, Kate beams down at Prince Louis, who appears to reassure her.
Lip Reader Nicola Hickling claimed to the publication that young Prince is saying: “We’re looking out for each other.”
The pair stood alongside other members of the Royal Family, including Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The clip was posted on The Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram today, to promote the royal carol service.
It gave glimpses of the heartfelt carol, which took place once again in Westminster Abbey.
Princess Kate has spoken about the themes behind this year’s carol service. She spoke of how love and empathy should spread far beyond the festive season and she has advocated for the importance of kindness and forgiveness.
This year has been a difficult one for the Royal Family following cancer diagnoses for both King Charles and Princess Kate.
Towards the end of the clip, Princess Kate exchanged a tender glance at her youngest and gave him a loving smile.
On the Instagram post, the caption read: “This service reflects upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult time of our lives.
“Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this year’s celebrations.”
The Princess released a pre-recorded introduction to the Christmas carol service, in which she said: “Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, it is a time for presents, tinsel and mince pies, but it’s also a time to slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all.”
After the Princesses’ words at the start of the service, Scottish actress Kelly Macdonald will narrate the rest of the programme.
It will also feature performances by singers Paloma Faith, Olivia Dean, and Gregory Porter.
