Ariana Grande brought festive joy to hospitalized children in Manchester, England, ahead of Christmas by donating gifts distributed across city hospitals.
The heartwarming gesture came nearly seven years after the tragic Manchester Arena bombing during her Dangerous Woman Tour in 2017.
On Monday, the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity shared pictures on Instagram showing young patients receiving presents wrapped in festive bows and accompanied by cards reading, “Happy Holiday.”
Moreover, nurses in colorful Santa hats helped in distributing the gifts to children and teenagers in Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Trafford General Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital, and North Manchester General Hospital.
In regards to this, the charity wrote, “Thank you, @arianagrande! We are so grateful to Ariana for thinking of our young patients this Christmas.”
According to Daily Mail, this isn’t the first time Grande has supported the Manchester community as following the 2017 bombing, she funded the victims’ funerals and organized the One Love Manchester benefit concert, which raised £17 million for affected families.
Additionally, fans and followers praised the singer for continued connection with the city as one fan commented, “She’s the very best!” while another added, “This is why we love Ariana. Merry Christmas.”
