Frantic shoppers stocking up on food before Christmas have been beset by stock shortages, cancelled deliveries and malfunctioning store cards.
Morrisons has apologised after customers were unable to get discounts on their shopping after a problem with the More loyalty card. Some customers also complained that their online orders had been cancelled at the last minute.
The supermarket said some loyalty card and click-and-collect orders were affected on Monday morning. A Morrisons spokeswoman said customers would get 10 per cent off their shop as an apology for “some system issues, which are affecting our More Card customers”.
