The Princess of Wales stepped out in London tonight for her biggest royal night this year as she hosted her annual Together at Christmas Christmas Carol Service.
Princess Kate was joined by 26 members of the Royal Family as they all headed to Westminster Abbey for the festive event.
The full list included: The Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and their stepson Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi, Zara Tindall, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, George and Lyla Gilman, the Duke of Kent, Lady Helen Taylor, Earl of St Andrews, Lady Marina Charlotte Windsor, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Lady Gabriella Windsor, Lord Frederick and Lady Sophie Windsor, Maud Windsor, Lady Sarah Chatto, Daniel Chatto and Samuel Chatto.
This year marks a significant milestone for the future Queen, who’s easing herself into royal life after a challenging year following her cancer diagnosis back in March. Tonight’s service provided a moment to reflect upon the importance of love and empathy. A total of 1,600 guests headed Westminster Abbey and each will be given the Order of Service, the cover of which was created by illustrator Charlie Mackesy and was unveiled yesterday and a personal letter from the princess for the first time ever, thanking them for all they have done to provide comfort and hope to those who need it the most.
During the poignant event, which is supported by the Royal Foundation and will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve, readings linked to the theme of love and empathy were delivered by speakers including the Prince of Wales, Olympian Adam Peaty OBE, Sophie Okonedo CBE, Michelle Dockery and Richard E. Grant.
