BO6 Season 1 Reloaded details
The mid-season update includes a bunch of new weapons, maps, events through which you can unlock weapons, Christmas-themed items, and the obvious balancing across several aspects of the game. So, if you’re wondering what all are included, keep reading below.
New maps and weapons in Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded
Two new maps are joining the pool – Hacienda and Racket. Along with that, a Holiday variant of Nuketown will be added to set the Christmas mood in full flow.
The Hacienda map from BO4 has been remastered. It’s a medium-sized 6v6 map and is a part of the Core playlist. On the other hand, Racket is a completely new addition – a small-sized map that is part of the Strike and allows both 2v2 and 6v6 game modes.
Coming to new weapons, the Maelstrom shotgun and AMR Mod 4 sniper have finally been added to the arsenal. Considering Racket is a small-sized map, the Maelstrom could prove to be lethal in that map.
New events in BO6 Season 1 Reloaded
The mid-season update includes two limited-time modes – Ran-Snack and Infectious. Ran-Snack will be available at launch while Infectious will arrive later.
Here’s what their description says:
Ran-Snack: Trade gold for sweets in this festive LTM that challenges teams to gather and deposit the most cookies. Grab cookies from the rotating crate, fallen Operators, and by breaching the enemy’s cookie box and taking the goods back to your own.
In honor of the season of giving, your Operator also earns buffs for depositing cookies, including a speed boost, faster reload, and faster health regen. The first team to reach the Score Limit or have the best score when the Time Limit expires wins.
Infectious: Even the undead are getting into the holiday spirit as zombies and fallen Operators don festive clothing in this festive twist on the fan-favorite Infected mode.
New Perk and Wildcard
Get ready to spice up your favorite loadouts with the new Shrapnel Radar Perk and High Roller Wildcard in BO6 Season 1 Reloaded.
You can unlock Shrapnel Radar as a reward of the Merry Mayhem Event. It’s a Recon-type Perk and takes up slot 3. What it does is marks the target on your minimap who is injured due to blast damage dealt from area-of-effect Lethals, Tacticals and Field Upgrades.
The High Roller Wildcard will be available to unlock during mid-season and will allow you to equip a fourth Scorestreak. According to Activision, it will pair well with Assassin, Dispatcher, and Bankroll.
