The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp was rocked by another elimination tonight, as yet another celebrity left the jungle. Tulisa become the third star to be voted out of the ITV show, after Jane Moore and Dean McCullough became the first celebs to leave the competition.
I’m A Celeb hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly arrived in camp to break the sad news to the dwindling group of celebs, who were gutted to see their campmate go.
The bottom two came down to Oti Mabuse and N-Dubz star Tulisa – but it was Tulisa who failed to receive enough votes from the public, meaning they were next to go home.
After hearing the result, Tulisa hugged her campmates and told them “I love you” before reassuring Love Island’s Maura Higgins by saying: “I’m Happy, I’m Happy.”
“I’m not going to lie,” she added. “It’s tough in there – so leaving is also a happy thing… Food!”
Speaking to Ant and Dec, she continued: “It feels like a whirlwind – it doesn’t feel real.”
She also reflected on how she’d changed, admitting she felt “more grateful” for the good things in her life.
It follows a tense bottom two last night, which saw radio presenter Dean and former boxer Barry McGuigan wait to find out which of them was going home.
Elsewhere in the episode, the camp was thrown into chaos when Maura Higgins spotted a mouse, which caused her to squeal as it ran under her bed.
“I’m not really up for a Trial at this time of the night!” she cried, as Tulisa discovered some fruit from dinner was left out, insisting: “Camp maintenance should be putting everything back in the trunk. They gotta step it up!”
The campmates were also in shock following Dean’s departure, with Strictly’s Oti Mabuse admitting: “He just brought us all together, he was the life of the camp.”
A shocked Danny Jones said: “I thought he was final four, final three!”
While Tulisa reflected: “You can definitely feel that Dean has left the camp. It’s almost a little bit too chilled out, dare I say.
“Didn’t think I’d ever see the day that I’d be waiting for some musical theatre in the morning!”
Alan Halsall and Coleen Rooney also volunteered to take on a Bushtucker Trial called The Farmyard of Fear this episode.
The trial saw them transport ‘jungle nasties’ from the sinister silo a floor above into the wheelbarrow, which was positioned below on the jungle floor, around the farm yard and into the jungle scales.
The more weight they added to the scales, the more meals they’d win for camp, with 10 minutes to win all 10 available stars.
In the end, the pair managed to get a clean sweep, winning all 10 for camp with a minute to spare.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV and ITVX. I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked airs live on ITV2 every night directly after the ITV1 show.
