A 300-foot reptile that bellows a sulphurous beam of radiation shouldn’t be hard to miss, so why hasn’t anyone tracked it down yet?
Where is Godzilla in Fortnite?
Despite appearing in the Chapter 6 launch trailers, Godzilla isn’t ready for its big debut just yet.
Epic says the king of the monsters will eventually be seen roaming the new alternate Japan map, but hasn’t revealed when exactly that will be.
In the absence of a release date, speculation suggests Godzilla’s arrival could coincide with the launch of the Godzilla Evolved skin in the Chapter 6 Battle Pass.
The outfit, which is based on the pink-scaled version of the titan from this year’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, is expected to land on January 17, 2025.
If the popularity of the recent Juice Wrld skin is any guide, you can expect to see numerous mini Godzillas running around the map at once.
As usual, you’ll be able to unlock the skin by purchasing the Battle Pass and completing the specific quests tied to it.
What other skins are in the Chapter 6 Battle Pass?
In the meantime, Fortnite players can fill up their lockers with a new batch of skins and cosmetics.
This season’s Battle Pass contains 14 pages of rewards, excluding the bonus page that contains Godzilla, with new outfits for a host of original Fortnite characters.
Epic recently upped the cost of the Battle Pass to 1,000 V-Bucks from 950 V-Bucks previously. It also enabled players to progress through all of Fortnite’s passes simultaneously by earning XP in any of mode.
Here are all the skins included in the Chapter 6: Hunters Battle Pass, all of which come with their own unique accessories:
