Former My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar was found dead inside his Tennessee home on Tuesday, according to a report. He was 44 years old.

Bryar, the popular rock band’s longest-tenured drummer, was last seen alive on November 4, TMZ reported, citing sources. Authorities don’t suspect foul play in Bryar’s death.

Bryar’s cause of death was not immediately known.

Animal control was called to the home to remove two dogs after the former musician’s badly decomposed body was discovered.

Bryar, a sound technician for The Used, joined My Chemical Romance while the two bands were on tour in 2004, replacing original drummer Matt Pelissier.

He became the New Jersey rock band’s permanent drummer following the release of their sophomore album “Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.”

Bryar was part of the band’s hay day, with the release of the platinum, concept album “The Black Parade” in 2006.

The album was certified quadruple platinum in the US and finished the year number one on the Billboard Top Rock Albums 2006, and number 2 on the Billboard 200.

During the filming of the music video for “Famous Last Words” Bryar and lead vocalist Gerard Way suffered injuries, with the drummer sustaining third-degree burns and forcing the band to cancel an appearance at the San Diego Street Scene Festival, Billboard reported.

Bryar left My Chemical Romance in March 2010; six years after he took over from the band's original drummer Matt Pelissier in 2004.

Subsequent medical issues from Bryar forced several more shows to be canceled.

Bryar parted ways with My Chemical Romance in March 2010; six years after he took over from Pelissier.

“This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly,” the band said. “We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and expect you all to do the same.”

Following stints helping other bands on tour, Bryar turned to working in the real estate industry, according to TMZ

On Nov. 12, My Chemical Romance announced their “Long Live” ten-city tour beginning in July 2025.

Bryar was not scheduled to appear at any of the shows.

The Post has reached out to a rep for the band.
