The blood-soaked violence of Sky and AMC+’s BAFTA-winning Gangs of London continues: a first-look teaser and images for season three were unveiled on Wednesday.
The show, starring Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, Joe Cole, Michelle Fairley, Lucian Msamati, and Brian Vernel, was a hit with viewers, gripped by the drug-fuelled chaos in the U.K. capital.
Also returning to the action is Pippa Bennett-Warner, Narges Rashidi, Asif Raza Mir, Orli and Eri Shuka, Jahz Armando and Fady Elsayed. New players include Andrew Koji, Richard Dormer, and T’Nia Miller with guest stars Phil Daniels, Ruth Sheen, and Mat Fraser also joining this season.
A plot synopsis for the latest instalment of the violent crime drama reads: “Former undercover cop turned gangster Elliot navigates his new role as a top-level criminal alongside the Dumanis, but the spiking throws their operations into disarray. The Wallaces, Luan, Lale, and the street gangs face devastating consequences as personal vendettas collide with professional power struggles bleeding into violent turf wars. In the ruthless fight for control of London’s criminal underworld, no one is safe. This was no accident — it was a calculated attack. But who’s pulling the strings?”
When it first launched, the nine-part series — created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery and produced by Pulse Films in association with Sister Pictures for Sky Studios and AMC+ — landed a seven-day cumulative audience of 2.23 million on Sky Atlantic, part of Comcast’s pay-TV giant Sky, making it the channel’s second-biggest original drama launch of all time behind Fortitude.
Gangs of London will be available on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW in 2025.
