RAPPER Slowthai and his friend raped two female fans on a rooftop after a gig then high-fived each other, a court heard today.
The Grammy-nominated artist, real name Tyron Kaymone Frampton, and co-accused Alex Blake-Walker, 27, allegedly attacked the women in Oxford.
The pair then “high-fived” each other following the alleged sex attacks, Oxford Crown Court heard.
Frampton, who was supported by his wife, former The Voice judge Anne-Marie in court, is charged with two counts of rape.
He is also charged with sexually assaulting one of the women on September 8, 2021.
His co-defendant Alex Blake-Walker is on trial accused of the same charges.
Jurors heard Frampton had been performing at The Bullingdon club in Oxford when the alleged sex attacks took place.
One of the women – described as a “huge fan” of the rapper – had been added to a VIP list after speaking to Frampton before he performed.
Heather Stangoe, prosecuting, said the woman later met a group of friends – including the second complainant – at Frampton’s tour bus.
The group had gone back to a flat for a house party when the two alleged victims were “isolated” from their pals, jurors heard.
Frampton insisted on there being “no phones and no boys” and two of his entourage had allegedly turned up the music to obscure any sound from the roof.
Ms Stangoe said: “The prosecution case is that these two defendants attended a house party.
“Their sole purpose, the Crown say, in going to that house was to secure sexual gratification.
“It mattered not to them whether the subjects of their attention consented or not. As it happened the two women in this case did not but that did not matter to these two defendants.”
The court was told both women were raped simultaneously as the defendants discussed “swapping the girls”.
At one point, Frampton and Blake-Walker were interrupted – causing the rapper to jump from the roof into a garden below and out of the house.
Blake-Walker, who was also part of his entourage, fled the property as well.
The police were called and both Frampton and Blake-Walker were arrested and subsequently interviewed.
They each denied raping the women and insisted all sexual activity had been consented to.
Jurors heard one of the girls had been drinking for “many hours” and had also taken cocaine and ketamine.
The prosecutor said: “The prosecution say that although she was intoxicated, her level of intoxication did not mean that she was incapable of consenting.
“What her intoxication rendered her was vulnerable, more vulnerable than she would have been had she been sober.”
Frampton wed Anne-Marie in Las Vegas in July 2022 and the pair had their first child, a daughter, earlier this year.
He arrived on the music scene in 2019 with album Nothing Great About Britain.
Frampton was nominated for best dance recording at 2021’s Grammy Awards.
He and Blake-Walker deny three joint charges of rape and one of sexual assault against two women.
