Egyptian authorities say 17 people are missing, including foreigners, and 28 have been rescued after a tourist boat sank in the Red Sea (Red Sea Governorate)
The Irish national who was on board a tourist yacht that capsized in the Red Sea off Egypt is safe, Foreign Affairs Minister Micheál Martin has said.
“My understanding is that Irish citizen is OK and receiving consular assistance from the Department of Foreign Affairs,” Mr Martin said today.
