The boy band icon is going on the tour to celebrate his 36 years in the music industry.

The 53-year-old crooner will bring The Gary Barlow Songbook Tour to four Scots cities.

And he’ll perform six shows in May next year, including gigs in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee.

The Back For Good singer will kick off the tour on the Isle of Man on April 17 and round off the run of shows at Thetford Forest in June.

Tickets are set to go on sale this Friday.

Posting on X he told fans: “I’m hitting the road across the UK and Ireland with my songbook and band between April and June 2025!

“The Gary Barlow Songbook Tour goes on sale on Friday at 9:30AM”

The Back For Good singer will take on 41 dates across the UK and Ireland in 2025 and promises fans as well as big venues like Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo and Aberdeen’s P&J Live, he will also play smaller venues including Edinburgh’s Usher Hall and The Caird Hall in Dundee.

Barlow’s latest tour cements him as one of Britain’s most successful singer/songwriters after launching himself in 1989 as one fifth of boyband Take That.

Along with Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Robbie Williams and Howard Donald, the band has sold more than 45 million records and won eight Brit Awards and Barlow was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Honours list in 2012.

Fans who sign up to his official mailing list by 8pm today (Monday, November 25) will gain access to presale on Wednesday November 27 from 9:30am. General sale starts at 9:30am Friday.

The announcement comes days after Gary and former band-mates including Robbie Williams appeared in a new BBC documentary about the height of the 90s boy band era.

During an interview in the Boybands Forever documentary, Robbie called out former manager Nigel Martin Smith about claims he made about his drug use.
