The programme is the fourth effort from Archewell Productions, which has previously released three documentaries with Netflix as part of a multimillion-pound, multi-year deal .
Heart Of Invictus, which aired last August, followed a group of service members on their road to the Invictus Games, the Paralympic-style sporting competition set up by Prince Harry in 2014 for injured and sick military personnel and veterans.
Netflix also released the documentary series Live To Lead and the controversial six-part Harry & Meghan documentary in December 2022.
The polo programme will feature Prince Harry’s friend Nacho Figueras, an Argentinian player credited as an expert and consulting producer.
Netflix said: “The world of polo – like many equestrian sports – has earned a reputation as a rarefied one, dripping with glamour and wealth.
“On the field, however, the game is about perseverance and grit, as two teams of four players on horseback battle it out to score as many goals as they can.”
