Mr Sayer was said to be heard saying, while facing Mr Faulkner: “I didn’t leave a tip because you’re a little c—.”
Mrs Faulkner told the court that Mr Sayer then came very close to her face. At this point, her husband pushed the company director out of the pub, believing his wife was in danger, it was alleged.
Mr Sayer allegedly pushed a female member of staff. Mrs Sayer allegedly gripped Mrs Faulkner’s polo shirt “and was pulling it so tight”, breaking the skin of her neck, Mrs Faulkner told the court. She added that Mrs Sayer called her a “f—ing b—-”.

The alleged incident ended with the staff members closing the door with the couple on the outside. Mrs Faulkner told the court she believed CCTV footage then showed the couple laughing and congratulating each other on provoking the staff.
