However, according to Bloomberg, Apple may have found a way to stop the bleeding and has hired an executive to license its original productions to other companies. This would be a double positive as sales of the content would increase revenue for the Apple TV+ segment, and the overall visibility of Apple TV+ shows and movies content could also be improved, potentially getting more users to sign up in the future.
We’ve actually seen this happen before, most recently with AMC+, which moved the first seasons of both Interview with the Vampire and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon to Netflix in an effort to get users to check out the second seasons of these shows, which remain exclusive to AMC+.
