Ed Sheeran has spent several years fighting accusations that he pinched other people’s music.
But now the star is annoyed that his voice has been pinched.
The singer-songwriter has said he did not give permission for his vocals to be used in the 40th anniversary mix of Band Aid’s Do They Know It’s Christmas.
Sheeran, who willingly appeared in Band Aid 30, said that if he had been asked he would have “respectfully” declined.
The 33-year-old said his “understanding of the narrative associated with this has changed” adding that he had been influenced by the views of the Ghanaian-British rapper, Fuse ODG.
