An example includes Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Fortnite, which were confirmed to be PS5 Pro Enhanced for launch. However, both titles still do not take advantage of the high-end machine, which arrived on November 7, 2024. Notably, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has just kicked off Season One, which is packed with new content; PS5 Pro Enhanced support is not mentioned in the patch notes, however.

Recently, it was confirmed that LEGO Horizon Adventures would not support PS5 Pro at launch and it remains to be seen when (or indeed, if) the feature will be added.

The PS5 Pro Enhanced label is one of the biggest advantages of Sony’s pricy new system, improving games with a number of features such as increased frame rate, higher resolution, better effects such as ray tracing, and more. The PS5 Pro also uses Sony’s AI-powered upscaling tech, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), to greatly improve compatible titles.

Sony has gotten off to a solid start with the PS5 Pro in its native Japan, with Famitsu revealing the system has sold over 78,000 units during its launch week, making it the top-selling console in the region during that period.
