The first day of filming did not quite go to plan for one contestant
The first day of filming for the new I’m A Celebrity series was rocked with chaos as a star’s parachute blew off course. The latest series of TV’s toughest entertainment gets underway on Sunday.
Filming is underway as the 10 stars have already travelled Down Under to make their way to the Australian camp. Coleen Rooney, Alan Halsall, Danny Jones, Oti Mabuse, GK Barry, Melvin Odoom, Tulisa Contostavlos, Barry McGuigan, Dean McCullough and Jane Moore have been confirmed as part of the line-up so far.
Loose Women panellist Jane Moore has got off to a turbulent start as one of the first challengers. Pictures captured by photographers from our sister site, Mirror Online, have shown how her first task did not go to plan.
The 62-year-old was part of a group that had to parachute their way onto the Byron Bay beach. However, she was hit by strong winds, which blew her parachute completely off course.

Pictures also shown Coleen, GK and Melvin are part of the same group that had to parachute onto the beach. Coleen is taken aback by Jane’s mishap as she points to the sky as the parachute was blown off course.
The Loose Women panellist eventually landed among tourists and was eventually reunited with her campmates. The first episode of the new season gets underway on Sunday, November 17 at 9pm.
The show will be broadcast every night apart from Saturday until December 8 when the King or Queen of the jungle will be crowned. Coleen, who is married to former Everton FC striker Wayne Rooney, has revealed why she agreed to be a part of the line-up for this upcoming season.
She said: “They’ve asked me for so many years now. I’ve always said no and put it off because the kids have been young and I’ve had quite a lot on. But this year, I thought, I quite fancy doing it.
“I would like to experience something different, do something for myself, meet new people. I’m looking forward to doing the trials.”
In her heartfelt message before she departed for Australia, Coleen confessed she was worried about the prospect of leaving behind Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass. She added: “Don’t get me wrong. I’m really anxious about leaving the kids. That’s been my biggest thing. I’ve come to terms with it. I’ve planned and prepped.
“I’ve got an army of family and friends all helping out with the kids so they are going to be fine. They are probably going to have a great time while I’m away.”
In the update, Coleen revealed how extensively she has prepared to ensure the kids have all they need while she is Down Under for I’m A Celebrity.
