Anya Taylor-Joy updates the “no trousers” for spring with the perfect ruffle leotard

Must read

In case you’ve somehow missed the ads on the sides of buses, the movie trailers and the relentless updates in the media then let us be the first to tell you: Anya Taylor-Joy is starring in a new film which is due to drop in cinemas imminently.

And it’s not just any film, it’s a major blockbuster – specifically, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Within the post-apocalyptic world of the Mad Max film franchise, the prequel sees us delve into the backstory of Imperator Furiosa.

Now, whether or not you actually see the film, for us fashion fans the promo tour looks are just as exciting as the movie itself. Anya has not come to play, wearing a gold beaded Paco Rabanne mini dress embellished with *literal arrows* to the Australian premiere.

Repping the action movie at the Cannes Film Festival, she wore a Jil Sander cream cropped jacket and midi pencil skirt and an edgy af chainmail headpiece. Also at the festival, she stunned in a Jacquemus strapless see-through white dress and oversized straw hat because she seriously never misses!

But even when she waved the French Riviera behind, Anya stayed serving! Back in the UK, Anya has been doing promo for the film in London – and has given us one of our fave renditions of the ‘no trousers’ trend yet.

Yep, the actress rocked a *gorgeous* leotard from Giambattista Valli’s SS 2024 haute couture collection with, you guessed it, no trousers!

The black, high leg leotard was off the shoulder and featured white floral ruffles at the neckline and was accessorised with black tights, black stilettos and Tiffany & Co diamonds.

Hair and makeup-wise, Anya was looking snatched with a high af pony tail and a bright red lip.

Officially *in love* with this fit!
