Fans have taken to Twitter to slam Shirley after she cast the deciding vote to save Wynne and Katya.

As head judge the ballroom queen has the casting vote, however fans were left disappointed with her decison as one even suggested if it is split it should go back to the public vote to decide.

What do you think of the judges decision?

Shayne and Nancy’s departure has left fans shocked as they took to the comment section to share their opinion on his exit.

Fighting the singer’s corner, fans couldn’t believe the result as they wrote: ‘He shouldn’t be going home’ and ‘They should have stayed’.

Other’s added: ‘Shame he went out as he was the better dancer’ and ‘Shocking! Something is not right here, Shayne was so much better’.

It’s the end of the road for Shayne and Nancy

Wynne and Katya are through to Blackpool!

Shayne and Nancy have become the latest couple to leave Strictly after Wynne and Katya were saved by the judges in a very tense dancefloor.

Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voted to save the musician, while Anton Du Beke preferred Wynne and Katya’s American Smooth.

It left head judge Shirley Ballas with an agonising decision. She ultimately decided to give her deciding vote to Wynne, which meant that Shayne departed the competition.

Chris McCausland has revealed that his daughter was worried about him taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.

The comedian, 47, and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell, 35, took to the dance floor on Saturday to perform a Couple’s Choice routine to Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) by John Lennon.

But in a video shared before his performance, Chris revealed his 11-year-old wasn’t keen on him taking part as she worried he would ‘fall and break a leg’.

Chris said she was concerned about him ‘making a fool of himself’ on the show – which is broadcast to millions of viewers every Saturday.

‘My daughter is like me — I think she uses comedy to maybe hide her true worries sometimes,’ he said.

Watch: Pete’s emotional tribute to nan which left fans in tears

Pete Wicks brought Strictly Come Dancing viewers to tears on Saturday as he paid tribute to his nan with an emotional dance.

The former TOWIE stary, 36, was very close to his nan Doreen who died in 2022. He previously described her passing as ‘the hardest time of his life’.

Pete and his dance partner Jowita Przystal performed their routine to The Best, a song originally recorded by Bonnie Tyler and made famous by Tina Turner.

The reality star was praised by the judges for his performance and received his first perfect 10 score from Shirley Ballas who said his dance made her emotional.

Viewers accuse judges of ‘over marking’ one couple

Former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec took to the famous dancefloor to perform the Quickstep during the latest live show.

And her glitzy performance left judges Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke in awe as they gave her a joint score of 37.

Motsi and Shirley even gave the star a perfect 10 but fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood seemed less impressed as he scored the couple an eight.

But BBC viewers did not agree as they dubbed the performance ‘flat’ and said the house band ‘butchered’ the song – Mariah Carey’s smash-hit track, Sweet Fantasy.

Do you believe Tasha and Aljaz were overmarked? If so, let us know by posting your thoughts in our comments section

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left shocked as the results of the week eight elimination show were leaked online on Sunday morning.

Viewers branded the show result ‘totally unfair’ and claimed the judges ‘had it in’ for the celebrity who has missed out on next week’s Blackpool Special.

The BBC show will air its results show tonight after it was filmed on Saturday night, however the next celebrity name to be sent packing is already circulating on X.

Many were surprised at who ended up in the bottom two and had to dance their routines for a second time.

But it seems the judges had a split decision when voting who to send home and it was head judge Shirley Ballas who had the final say.
