Taylor Swift said so long London — and hello, Grammy Awards.
Swift, 34, scored nominations in six categories for the 2025 Grammy Awards on Friday, November 8, including Album of the Year for her 11th studio record, The Tortured Poets Department. The pop star’s seventh Album of the Year nomination breaks her out of a tie with Barbra Streisand for the female artist with the most nods in the coveted category, per Billboard.
TTPD was also nominated in the Best Pop Vocal Album category, while the album’s lead single — “Fortnight” feat. Post Malone — scored nods for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Music Video.
Swift’s most surprising 2025 Grammy nomination comes in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category, where she earned a nod for her and Gracie Abrams’ collab “us.,” off of Abrams’ album The Secret of Us. Abrams, 25, has served as an opener on Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, which kicked off in March 2023, and will continue to travel with Swift for her final tour stops in Canada through December 8.
Swift’s latest Grammy nominations mark a full circle moment for the singer, who announced TTPD while accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights at the 2024 Grammys in February.
“I want to say ‘thank you’ to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the past two years, which is that my brand new album comes out April 19th,” she shared on the awards stage. “It’s called The Tortured Poets Department and I’m going to go post the cover right now backstage. Thank you. I love you.”
Swift continued to win big at this year’s ceremony by taking home Album of the Year for Midnights.
“I would love to tell you this is the best moment of my life but I feel this happy when I finish a song, or when I crack the code to bridge that I love, or when I’m shot listing a music video, or when I’m rehearsing with my dancers or my band or getting ready to go to Tokyo to play a show,” she said while accepting the night’s biggest honor. “For me, the award is the word. All I want to do is keep being able to do this. I love it so much. It makes me so happy. It makes me unbelievably blown away that it makes some people happy who voted for this award, too. All I want to do is keep doing this, so thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to do what I love so much. Mind blown. Thank you so much.”
Swift is the only artist in Grammys history to win Album of the Year four times, having done so with her records Fearless, 1989, Folklore and Midnights. Including her 2025 nods, Swift has racked up a total of 58 Grammy nominations and 14 wins throughout her career.
Beyoncé sits at the top of the 2025 nominations list with a total of 11 nods for her latest album, Cowboy Carter. Charli XCX, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish and Malone, 29, tied in second place with seven nominations each, while Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan joined Swift with six total nods.
The 2025 Grammy Awards will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
