A BRIT holidaymaker has been tragically found dead on a beach in Lanzarote.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene after the 34-year-old man’s body was found by beachgoers near Puerto del Carmen.
It was not immediately clear who had found the body.
Cops have now launched an investigation but say there is nothing at this stage pointing to the death being suspicious.
No one from the Spanish Civil Guard in Lanzarote was available for comment this afternoon.
It comes after another British man, 35, was found dead in the village of Mojacar, near a popular beach.
Blood was reportedly seen on the walls and floor of the unidentified spot where his body was found.
He was found near Vantanicas beach, a popular local spot for visitors to the area.
Mojacar is a popular destination for tourists in Andalucia, southern Spain.
Meanwhile, just days ago a 50-year-old British man and his wife were allegedly hit by a drunk driver outside their hotel in Spain.
The man died after they were hit on the way back to their hotel as a car hit them while crossing the road.
After hitting the couple, the driver fled the scene but was later caught by local cops.
He was found to be more than three times over the legal alcohol limit for driving.
The man was also reportedly driving without a license and now faces a reckless homicide charge, alongside a host of existing driving offences.
