Rebekah Vardy has taken a major swipe at rival Coleen Rooney amid her reported I’m A Celebrity signing as she made a bold statement on social media.
Coleen is rumoured to be earning at least £1.5million for signing up to the ITV primetime hit hosted by Ant and Dec, with the move said to be the ‘ultimate revenge’ on her rival because Rebekah was booted out early in the 2017 series.
And while fans gear up for Coleen’s explosives stint in the Australian jungle, Rebekah, 43, appeared to poke fun at Coleen, 38, by making reference to her 2019 interview where she compared Wayne Rooney‘s wife to a ‘pigeon that would s**t in your hair’.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Rebekah shared a throwback snap from her time in the jungle, alongside the cryptic words: ‘That feeling when you start seeing rehashed nonsense.’
In a fresh dig at her WAG rival, Rebekah added an animated pigeon emoji, making it clear she was alluding to her infamous bird comment.

The remark first came about when Rebekah spoke to The Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff just days after Coleen first accused her of leaking stories about her to The Sun, sparking a £3 million libel battle.
She said at the time: ‘It would be like arguing with a pigeon. You can tell it that you are right and it is wrong, but it’s still going to s*** in your hair.’
Last year, Rebekah once again made reference to her pigeon comment by sharing a childhood snap of herself with a pigeon on her head to Instagram, adding the very same bird emoji that she used in her latest post.
While the remark also previously resurfaced during their recent bitter High Court trial in 2022.
Rebekah’s cryptic post comes days after she shared another mysterious comment amid Coleen’s upcoming jungle stint.
Coleen is said to have been keen on joining the show for years, but only recently felt confident enough to leave her family in the UK.
Reports claim that she has been offered the biggest deal in the show’s history, exceeding Nigel Farage‘s £1.5million from last year.
Whilst Rebekah may not be an avid viewer, her legal team are said to be paying close attention to anything that could be said.

Fans are desperate for Coleen to tell all about the Wagatha Christie drama on the reality show, but it’s been reported that she is not taking any chances.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Rebekah shared text reading: ‘I take rumours as a compliment. The fact you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered.’
Rebekah and her lawyers will be ‘glued’ to this year’s I’m A Celebrity to keep close watch on anything rival Coleen says about her after Wagatha Christie libel battle.
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede believes that Rebekah would be willing to launch a new lawsuit if Mrs Rooney says ‘any nuggets that could potentially defame her‘.
But while Coleen knows ITV wants her to ‘spill more beans’ about the Wagatha Christie case and their rivalry, she will have been carefully coached by her lawyers about what she can and can’t say before she enters the jungle, Mr Ede said to MailOnline.
‘100% Rebekah will not be happy that Coleen is going on the show’, he said.

‘She will be keeping her eyes and ears glued to the screen in case she can garner any nuggets from Coleen that could potentially defame her.
‘Rebekah famously went in the jungle herself and for Coleen to be following in her footsteps will add insult to injury.
‘Coleen is a very private person so for her to agree to this will and to appear on the jungle producers will be wanting her to spill more beans about the Wagatha Christie case’.
Mr Ede said that Coleen is going to speak out, but added: ‘She’s a very careful speaker so will be making sure she rehearses any answers to questions camp mates may interrogate her on.
‘She won’t want to face any more issues or court letters from Vardy’s camp’.
