Strictly Come Dancing spoilers follow.

Strictly Come Dancing has revealed the sixth celebrity to leave this year’s competition.

Tonight’s (November 3) results show saw Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe battle against Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin, after the combined scores and votes for Icons Week landed both couples in the dance-off.

Sam and Nikita once again performed their American Smooth to Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story’, before Montell and Johannes danced their Waltz to Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’.

In another unanimous decision, all four judges voted to save Montell and Johannes, eliminating Sam and Nikita from the competition.

Looking back on her Strictly experience, Sam told host Tess Daly: “I’m gutted, I just want to say thank you. I’ve learned so much. Strictly has just brought that spring in my step back. It’s just been an absolute joy.

Nikita, you’ve been key in helping me find that inner Sam that was there, who went a little bit quiet for maybe one or two years and has just come back. I’m gutted because I do feel like I still have more to give.”

Nikita said he was “in awe” of Sam. “Sometimes they say it’s about the journey, not the destination, but to me it’s about the company. Sam, you are the most wonderful company I could have had.”

Sam echoed his sentiments, adding: “I’m guilty of watching the competition and thinking ‘how do they have that relationship as a celebrity and a dancer?’

“All I can say is, the time you spend with each other and what you bring out in each other. It really is, and it sounds dead cheesy, magical.”

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
