Three WWE wrestlers are leaving the company.
Fightful reported on Friday that Baron Corbin has been informed that his contract with WWE will not be renewed. They also reported that Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox have been released, and will be free agents in 90 days. Bryan Alvarez has confirmed that all three are leaving the company.
Corbin posted on social media regarding his departure, writing: “That’s all she wrote folks. It’s been real and I appreciate everyone who supported me.”
Signed in 2012, Corbin spent time in NXT before being called up in 2016. During his time in WWE he was given several gimmicks, including King Corbin and at one time becoming the constable of the Raw brand. After a period where he was down on his luck, he was rebranded as Happy Corbin after becoming rich in Las Vegas.
After Triple H took over creative, he was put with JBL for a while before returning to NXT, where he was most successful in a tag team with Bron Breakker. In the 2024 WWE Draft, he was put back on SmackDown but wasn’t used much on television, most recently teaming with Apollo Crews.
Hartwell was signed in 2019 and is best known for her run in NXT with a romance storyline involving herself and Dexter Lumis. In 2023, she was called up and mainly teamed with Candice LeRae. She also reacted to the news on social media:
Following her release in 2021, Nox returned to WWE the following year, first on SmackDown and later on Raw, where she was best known for teaming with Natalya briefly. Nox only made a few appearances on television in 2024 and never appeared on SmackDown after being traded to the brand in the 2024 WWE Draft.
