Thomas Tinkler filmed the below footage – which includes the sound of gunfire ringing out in the historic area of Bradford.

Another clip appears to show an unknown male actor wearing a black overcoat and a bowler hat near a vintage car and what looks to be a military vehicle loaded with boxes.

Thomas said: “I think it’s positive for Bradford that it’s been chosen as one of the locations to make this movie.”

Peaky Blinders’ series creator Steven Knight decided to bring the hit show to a close with season six – a time marked by challenges posed by the Covid pandemic.

In 2022, Cillian Murphy – who plays Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders – said: “I think Steve has always had an endgame in mind. Covid screwed that up a bit. But now he’s got lots of plans to make a film.

“So I don’t think this is the end of the story. I think it’s probably just the end of the story in this form.”

It is not yet known when the Peaky Blinders film will be released – but it will be available to watch on Netflix.
