Gather ’round because things have pivoted to a level of messy that is truly unprecedented. Mere hours after news broke that Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz had broken up, Jenna Dewan’s fiancé Steve Kazee hopped on Instagram in what…sure looks to be a response.
While he didn’t name check anyone, Steve went ahead and posted a series of all-caps HAHAHAHAHAHAs on a black screen. And, I mean…the timing!
Annnnyway, in case you missed it, multiple sources have confirmed that Channing and Zoë are over, though at this point no one knows why they ended their engagement (and we haven’t heard from them…yet!).
However, a few hours before news broke, Channing re-posted a Deadline announcement, revealing that he and Zoë are starring in an upcoming movie together. The film in question is the Zellner brothers’s upcoming “alien invasion comedy” Alpha Gang—which costars Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux, Riley Keough, and Cate Blanchett. Most interesting, though? The movie is scheduled to begin filming in Spring 2025, which means Zoë and Channing will presumably be on set together in a mere matter of months.
Of course, if their breakup was amicable this might not be a big deal, so TBD! Just a reminder that these two seemed to be doing well as of September, when Channing posted a picture of Zoë mid-Blink Twice press tour.
