ITV has finally revealed the launch date of the hotly anticipated latest season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
The clocks are set to go back this weekend and the evenings getting shorter can really only mean one thing… I’m a Celebrity is set to return to ITV!
Every winter season, Ant and Dec return to our screens with a new host of celebrities ready to take on bushtucker trials and gruelling tests in the outback – all for our entertainment.
And it’s set to return in just a few weeks! Today ITV announced I’m A Celeb is returning on Sunday, November 17 on ITV1 and ITVX.
This is music to fans’ ears who agreed that the ‘best time of year is here’ after a teaser trailer dropped for the series.
Finally, the show has released a full-length trailer, confirming the launch date and showing the hosts trying out a selection of horrifying equipment in a ‘secret jungle test facility’.
I’m A Celeb first began in 2002 and there have been 23 series since the show first began.
The show is set to kick off the 24th season next month with a whole new host of celebrities. While ITV has yet to announce who will be going into the jungle, the rumour mill has been churning.
And after the huge success of last season, it seems that ITV may be willing to pay big bucks to land some fabulous cast members that fans will be keen to see get stuck into jungle life.
Some of the stars rumoured for I’m A Celebrity 2024 include Strictly legend Reverend Richard Coles who delighted viewers in the 2017 season of the BBC dancing competition.
It’s also been rumoured that Phillip Schofield may be set to enter the jungle after he was snapped having dinner with Declan Donnelly.
A source told OK! of Phillip’s potential plans, saying: ‘Phillip is not the same since being away from TV. It’s what he’s done all his life and all he’s ever wanted to do. There is talk that Ant and Dec are keen to get him on I’m A Celeb.’
It’s also been reported that Tommy Fury, who was in the spotlight this year after his split from Molly-Mae Hague, and Love Island’s Zara McDermott are rumoured to be joining.
It has also been reported Coleen Rooney is set to be flying to Australia next month to join the ITV reality series as a campmate, reportedly securing a fee that has trumped Farage’s £1.5million last year, making her the show’s ‘biggest deal ever’.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Starts 17th November on ITV1 and ITVX
