Boox Palma 2 adds faster chipset, Android 13 and a fingerprint scanner

Must read

The original Boox Palma gained traction as a compact e-reader that also doubled as a smartphone and the new Palma 2 is here to fix some of its shortcomings. While it may look identical to its predecessor, Palma 2 features an upgraded eight-core CPU which should help it perform faster in day-to-day tasks.

The new model also boots Android 13 which may not be the latest version but it’s still a nice update coming from the Android 11 interface on Palma 1. The other new addition is the fingerprint scanner which is embedded in the power button.
