Justin Bieber is showing love for Liam Payne after his sudden death.
As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the former One Direction star died at age 31 on October 16 after falling from a third-floor balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires.
An autopsy report later showed that Liam died of “polytrauma and internal and external bleeding” sustained by his fall from the balcony.
And now, we’ve got a tribute from another pop superstar of the 2010s — Justin Bieber.
On Monday, Justin took to his Instagram Story to repost a fan-made video showing a number of public memorials created in Liam’s honor.
Justin — who released his debut EP, My World, eight months before One Direction were formed on The X Factor UK in 2010 — reshared the video to his 295 million followers, adding a broken heart emoji.
Before releasing their individual tributes to Liam, Harry, Niall, Louis, and Zayn released a joint statement mourning the loss of their former One Direction bandmate.
“We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say. But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly,” the statement began.
