New Zealand airport introduces ‘hug time limit’

Must read

A hug is a comforting and warm embrace that shows your affection for someone. But what if there was a time limit for how long you were allowed to hug for?

That’s what’s happened at Dunedin Airport in New Zealand, where a sign has limited cuddle time to three minutes for people saying goodbye to their loved ones before they travel.

The airport says this is to make sure more people get to say their goodbyes safely and gives room for cars to move along in the drop off zone.

Dunedin Airport CEO Daniel De Bono said: ” It’s really about enabling enough space for others to also have hugs, there’s only so much space in our drop off areas.”

If you were in this situation would you say goodbye to big long hugs? We want to know your thoughts. Let us know what you think in the comments.
