Britain’s Got Talent descends into chaos as judges throw food during audition

Must read

Britain’s Got Talent viewers were in stitches on Saturday night when judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli got into a messy food fight during one singer’s audition.

Opera singer Natalie Choquette, 65, requested the judges join her on stage “for dinner” as she sang Nessun Dorma. After taking their seats at the table, Natalie left the judges baffled when she gargled wine and ate spaghetti during the iconic song.

However, things took a turn when she grabbed a large handful of spaghetti bolognese and launched it at Simon’s face, leaving him covered in sauce with pieces of spaghetti falling off him.

In another surprise, Natalie’s waiters poured a huge pan of spaghetti over Bruno and parmesan cheese was dropped on them from above the stage.

Amanda and Alesha got involved in the mischief and began covering Simon and Bruno in pepper from a pepper shaker.

After wiping his eyes, Simon decided to get vengeance. He grabbed a bowl of bolognese and chased Amanda backstage. When he found her, he poured the pasta over her head, leaving her covered.

The live audience was in fits of laughter when filthy Amanda and Simon returned to the stage as Bruno took his top off and tried to shake the cheese out of his hair.

Amanda exclaimed: “This is chaos,” and Simon dramatically pressed all four red buzzers, saying: “What was that?!”

As Natalie departed after her unsuccessful audition, Amanda attempted to get the food off her Christian Louboutin shoes and quipped: “I’m sending you the dry cleaning bill.”

Fans quickly rushed to Twitter to react to the jaw-dropping audition. One said: “Omg the spaghetti flinging opera singer on @BGT should have gone through! Nothing on #bgt has made me laugh that hard EVER. Just brilliant hahaha!”

Another praised: “A great BGT tonight!”

However, some were concerned about the wasted food, with one writing: “Disgusting waste of food and mess! Im so over #BGT.”

And another commented: “The opera singer from Montreal didn’t honestly do much for Canada. Not to mention the mess. Not my bag. #bgt.”
