Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek appeared to share a tense moment at a recent Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week.
The Australian actress, 57, and the Mexico-born actress, 58, were posing for photos with Katy Perry, 39, when the Big Little Lies star seemed to grow tired of the shoot and pushed Hayek’s hand away from her when she attempted to put her arm around her.
One witness claimed that Nicole told Salma: ‘Don’t touch me’. The onlooker also claimed that Ms Perry had appeared ’embarrassed’.
Kidman and Hayek were seen standing together with their arms around each other as they posed for photographers alongside Perry. Hayek then tried to turn around to pose for more photos with the pair before Kidman declined and moved her hand away from her.
Kidman kissed Perry goodbye and walked away while appearing to share several tense words with Hayek. Kidman, who won the Best Actress Oscar for The Hours in 2003 – the same year Hayek was nominated against her for Frida – appeared to exchange words at one point.
As Kidman was walking away, Hayek was seen saying, ‘Yes please – advice’ – at which point Kidman purportedly replied, ‘You don’t need it’ and Hayek said, ‘I do.’
