Galaxy S25 screen protectors show size differences, rounder Ultra model

Must read

In early 2025, Samsung will do what it does in the beginning of every year: launch a new Galaxy S flagship lineup. The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will succeed the super popular Galaxy S24 series and bring several upgrades.

However, they will also be similar to their predecessors in some regards, including their screen sizes and dimensions, as revealed by a picture of what are supposedly screen protectors for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra.

This picture also offers another glimpse at the curvier design of the Ultra model. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will have rounded corners like the base and Plus model, which will help make its massive body more manageable, especially in one-handed usage.

The Ultra model’s corners aren’t 100% as round as the S25 and S25+, and that’s because of the S Pen slot. Early renders didn’t show an S Pen slot on the S25 Ultra, but more recent leaks have revealed that the S Pen slot isn’t going anywhere, and the shape of the screen protector provides further evidence of that.

The screen protectors also tell us that the Galaxy S25 series will have the same minimal bezels as the S24 series phones (not counting the Galaxy S24 FE). Like the bezels, the display specs will likely remain unchanged next year, though we hope Samsung will employ Gorilla Glass Armor on all three models.

Gorilla Glass Armor debuted on the Galaxy S24 Ultra and is a game-changer for smartphone display glasses. It has amazing scratch resistance compared to Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and other previous versions of Corning’s Gorilla Glass, which lessens the need for screen protectors, and it massively cuts down on reflections and glare.

This year, Samsung only used Gorilla Glass Armor on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 are equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra have an anti-reflective coating similar to the S24 Ultra, but they don’t use Gorilla Glass Armor either.
