If you want to kill two birds with one stone and upgrade your home broadband and TV package while getting a new games console, this new deal from Virgin Media might be worth considering. The broadband provider is offering all new customers a free Xbox Series S games console if they sign up to one of three internet and TV services, all of which are currently offered at highly discounted monthly rates.
The cheapest eligible deal is £60.99 per month, which nets you 125MB speed fibre broadband, a Virgin TV 360 box with more than 200 channels including 11 Sky Cinema channels.
For £9 more you can opt for sports over cinema, with faster 500MB internet plus all Sky Sports channels.
The Mega Volt bundle is a pricey £84.99 per month but gets you pretty much everything Virgin offers, with 500MB broadband, more than 240 TV channels, Netflix’s Standard plan included and an O2 5G SIM card for your mobile with unlimited calls, texts and data. If you want to sort out your internet, phone and TV in one fell swoop and get a free Xbox while you’re at it, look no further.
Here are the eligible plans, as described by Virgin Media:
Bigger Combo Movies (18-month contract) for £60.99 per monthÂ

Mega Volt (18-month contract) for £84.99 per month
Bringing the best Virgin Media O2 products together in one convenient bundle, the Ultimate Volt is packed with:
- M500 Broadband: 516Mbps average download speed, customers can also benefit from its market-leading WiFi guarantee at no extra cost, offering a minimum of 30Mbps download speeds in every room of their home or £100 back.
- TV: A huge variety of 240+ TV channels and subscription services including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Paramount+.
- Sky Sports and Cinema: Sky Sports and Sky Cinema channels in stunning HD.
- Mobile: An unlimited O2 SIM which includes data roaming in 75 worldwide destinations at no extra cost.
If you don’t want an Xbox or already have one, you can alternatively decide to claim £150 in bill credit on any of these packages instead, saving you more than a month of payments on the 18-month contracts.
Bear in mind that all of these packages will return to full price from month 19 for substantially more than these deal prices. Make sure you check the terms and conditions before signing up, as you may want to cancel your subscription after 18 months to avoid the bill surge.
It’s also worth shopping around before committing to a new broadband or TV deal. Providers sometimes make it tricky to leave your contracts, and you might not actually need to switch in the first place. A free Xbox is a solid deal, but you’re still committing to at least a year an a half of monthly payments. There might be a cheaper broadband deal from a competitor that better suits your needs and budget.
