Meghan Markle has stunned guests at an event in Los Angeles after making a surprise solo appearance in a recycled red gown.
The Duchess of Sussex looked glamorous in a Carolina Herrera dress at the LA Children’s Hospital gala last night.
The former actress had previously worn the gown at a 2021 gala in New York City to celebrate the military on the eve of Veterans Day on November 11 (UK’s Armistice Day).
She was seen greeting young fans at the event presented by Kaley Cuoco, Jamie Lee Curtis and Colin Hanks.
Footage from the event shows Meghan talking to a young boy and adorably joked: “It’s past your bedtime for sure.”
She added: “How old are they? Oh so really close to our kids. Three and five.”
The solo appearance comes after her husband has made 10 solo appearances in the last two weeks.
Prince Harry embarked on a “quasi-royal tour” across three continents, including London, New York City and Lesotho.

The couple were meant to attend a charity event together last month, but Meghan pulled out at the last minute due to sickness.
The last time the pair were spotted together therefore was on September 14 – the day before the Duke of Sussex’s 40th birthday.
It has been claimed that the prince then spent the night of his birthday with his friends on a hiking trip.
Sources close to the couple maintain that it was Meghan who booked the hiking trip for Harry and his pals.

Some however claim that the new “solo Harry” is his own idea, as he tries to rebuild his image.
“I hear he wanted it this way. I believe he wants space”, sources have told the Daily Mail.
Another insider also told the publication that: “This definitely feels like he is upping his game to cement his position as a serious player on the international stage.
“He’s always been desperate to be taken seriously and people I know say his fall from grace will really have got to him.”
