Amanda Abbington, a former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, has not ruled out further legal action against the BBC after “some, but not all” complaints against her dance partner Giovanni Pernice were upheld in a review.
The Sherlock actress claimed that she was subject to a “toxic environment” and “inappropriate, mean, nasty bullying”.
She told Newsnight on Wednesday that she had suffered a “litany of being verbally abused, sexual innuendo [and] sexual gestures” in the rehearsal room, including a “35-minute rant” in which the professional dancer called her names.
