Holly Willoughby shows true colours after Phillip Schofield’s major TV comeback

The 62-year-old broadcaster hasn’t been seen on screen since he stepped back from the daytime show in May 2023.

The dad-of-two left the programme after he admitted to hiding an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger ITV colleague from bosses.

During his TV comeback, the Dancing on Ice host headed out for a night on the town in the UK’s capital to see Abigail’s Party at the Theatre Royal in the heart of Stratford.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the blonde bombshell shared a series of glam snaps outside the venue as well as a sweet selfie with former EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite, 53.

She captioned the post: “You are simply incredible. If you get the chance, please go and see this.” The broadcaster rocked a black turtle neck jumper and straightened her golden tresses into a sleek bob.

The mum-of-three finished the look with a full face of makeup which celebrated her youthful glow as she beamed to the camera.

Holly’s post appears to imply that she didn’t feel compelled to witness her former friend’s comeback as she spent the evening out with friends

Unlike Willoughby, other ITV presenters have shared their thoughts on Schofield’s TV return. Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha, 59, slammed the star on her Coffee Moaning podcast.

She fumed: “When I was first sent it, there was no message with it, so I thought it was a joke. First of all, I cringed. If I’m being honest, I absolutely cringed when I saw that video.

“He’s also very clever so I think he understands an audience and I think he knows how to speak to an audience. So I think, yes, he’ll be very, very careful.”
