WWE Raw advertised CM Punk and Drew McIntyre exchanging their final words inside Hell in a Cell, the Judgment Day vs. LWO (again), Jey Uso’s WWE Intercontinental Championship celebration and Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman: Last Monster Standing.
Last week’s broadcast of WWE Raw garnered 1.340 million viewers.

Jey Uso Kicks Off WWE Raw
WWE made a slight adjustment to the WWE Intercontinental Championship for Jey Uso. It now has blue globes on it and it looks great.
Jey’s son made a cameo prior to Jey’s entrance through the crowd as his celebration continued.
Bron Breakker appeared, but to show respect for Jey Uso. Jey said there are some dogs in Indiana tonight, and it looks like WWE is pulling the trigger on a Bron Breakker heel turn afterall.

Xavier Woods Def. Rey Mysterio
Xavier Woods beat Rey Mysterio after removing his mask and taking advantage of the mishap. Woods swore it was an accident. It definitely wasn’t. Heel Xavier Woods is the greatest.
Kofi Kingston gave Woods his Intercontinental Championship match against Jey Uso.
Xavier Woods vs. Rey Mysterio Grade: B+
Zoey Stark Def. Lyra Valkyria
The announce team made sure to mention Lyra Valkyria’s run-in buddies Natalya and Zelina Vega were absent on a goodwill tour. This allowed heel announcer Wade Barrett to talk up the narrative that Lyra shouldn’t be offering up help to all her friends because she never knows when they’re going to be available to have her back.
Zoey Stark hit an amazing springboard dropkick to a strong reaction.
Outside interference was a theme of this match. Finally, Sonya Deville hit a knee to the face on Lyra while the referee was distracted by Zoey and after Lyra was also distracted by Shayna. Of course, the heels won.
PFC’s beatdown on Lyra led to the return of Carter and Chance, who hit a Kegstand on PFC. Carter and Chance haven’t connected with live crowds just yet, but their Kegstand finisher is very impressive. Katana Chance is wearing a face mask amid a broken orbital bone.
WWE aired an awesome Rampage-like video package to promote the Last Monster Standing match. A bit on the nose, but awesome nonetheless.
Zoey Stark vs. Lyra Valkyria Grade: B-
CM Punk Appears Inside Hell In A Cell
CM Punk, wearing all white, walked into a ring filled with security. Punk was staring at the cell ominously.
Adam Pearce vowed Drew McIntyre and CM Punk would not be getting physical tonight, eliciting boos. This seemed to be waste of a white outfit from Punk. McIntyre, on the other hand, opted to wear a black suit.
Drew said he was wearing his suit out of respect for CM Punk’s wife. McIntyre said she’d have to bathe him and feed him after their match.
After name-dropping Roxanne Perez, Drew wrapped a strong promo by saying his hate will end with CM Punk’s demise.
After saying he was voiceless because he had nothing to say to McIntyre, Punk cut a whole promo on McIntyre saying it won’t be a God or devil he’s praying to, he’ll be praying to CM Punk.
CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre Segment Grade: B+
The Judgment Day Def. LWO
Earlier in the night, Dominik Mysterio received a call from Finn Balor, who was apparently out of the country. Surprisingly, Judgment Day won this match with help from an interfering Balor.
After Judgment day’s win, Liv Morgan called herself “home-wrecking” and “man=stealing.”
Rhea Ripley interrupted Liv, and had WWE officials bring out a shark cage. This was the second cage featured of the night, though a much smaller one.
Damian Priest attacked Judgment Day toward the end of Rhea’s promo as the Terror Twins ran roughshod on The Judgment Day. Ripley ran Liv off and shoved the claustrophobic Dom in the shark cage. Liv Saved the day before she could close the cage.
Judging by the booking of this angle, with Liv continuing to evade Rhea since SummerSlam season, I think Rhea Ripley gets her get-back at Bad Blood.

Chad Gable Def. Kofi Kingston
WWE aired a tribute to the late, great WWE Hall of Famer Pete Rose who passed away today.
The announce team continued to play up Xavier Woods’ nefarious win over Rey Mysterio and whether or not it was intentional.
The finish came when Xavier Woods pulled Chad Gable’s leg at the same time Kofi attempted the Trouble In Paradise. It certainly looked like an accident, but 10 after 10 years, the New Day split up feels more real than ever.
Chad Gable vs. Kofi Kingston Grade: A-
GUNTHER Accepts Sami Zayn’s Challenge
GUNTHER continued to deny Sami an opportunity of his WWE World Championship. Fans chanted “you’re a coward,” and GUNTHER admitted to being afraid. Not afraid of Sami, but afraid for his reputation if he continues to associate with Sami. inues to associate with Sami.
GUNTHER said he had to look his father in his eye as his father said “I had to flow all the way from Vienna to Philadelphia to see you lose.” GUNTHER said he is the golden goose of his family and cannot afford further embarrassment at the hands of Sami Zayn.
Sami and GUNTHER brawled after Zayn said his father thinks GUNTHER is a loser and a coward. After a double-pump, Sami hit the exploder in the corner. GUNTHER laid out Sami, only to accept his challenge at the last minute. That match happens next week.

AOP Def. Awesome Truth
R-Truth returned, unscathed after five Tsunamis from Raw main eventer Bronson Reed. He then told Miz he booked them in a match against AOP (pronounced Ayop!) Add The Awesome Truth to the growing list of tag teams destined to split up before 2024 is over.
Looks like I spoke too soon, because the second The Miz tagged in, he turned on R-Truth and left him for dead. It was a helluva run, but now Miz is back where he belongs: as a heel.
AOP vs. Awesome Truth Grade: B
Braun Strowman Def. Bronson Reed
Backstage, Bron Breakker teased coming after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Within the opening minutes of Last Monster Standing, Braun put Bronson through a table to the sound of “holy s—t” chants.
Coming out of break, a hobbled Strowman doubled down by blasting Bronson off the apron through a sea of chairs. Bronson still survived. As the monsters battled on, Reed speared Strowman through a barricade that took out a row of fans. The special effects throughout this feud have been fire.
Reed reigned down Tsunamis on Strowman while the ref was distracted. Strowman was down for well over 10 seconds.
Reed mauled security and the referee as Adam Pearce scolded Reed. Reed and Pearce got in a shoving match in a sea of security, which led to Strowman diving on the pile.
The climactic spot happened after Bronson Reed hit a superplex on Strowman, collapsing the ring. As the referee counted to 10, Seth Rollins stomped Reed and Strowman won the match.
