A MAJOR Hollywood star has just been confirmed as part of the cast for the highly anticipated Peaky Blinders film.
The flick, which serves as a continuation of the hit BBC series, is expected to start filming soon.
It’s now been announced British actor Tim Roth will be starring alongside series mainstay Cillian Murphy and rising star Barry Keoghan.
Tim is known for his roles in gritty films such as Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs – which led fans to exclaim he is perfect for a role in the period crime drama.
One gushed: “Omg this is some stellar casting all round.”
Another agreed: “Tim Roth is such a perfect pick for Peaky that I almost start to wonder how it took this long to get him involved.”

A third simply exclaimed: “Sold!”
Screenwriter Steven Knight previously hinted the film is going to be an emotional rollercoaster for fans of the series.
Speaking to NME, he said viewers will be “shocked and delighted and horrified and then delighted again and then shocked again”.
Steven confirmed that this will be the final chapter in the Peaky Blinders franchise, so producers are planning to go all out.
The original hit series aired for six seasons and followed the exploits of a criminal gang in the aftermath of the First World War.
Cork-born star Cillian Murphy played gang leader Tommy Shelby in all six seasons.
He is thrilled to have been asked back for the big budget film, and told Deadline: “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me…It is very gratifying to be recollaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders.
“This is one for the fans.”
