Channel 4 has announced a new spin-off series of the BAFTA-winning reality show Made in Chelsea, with iconic stars set to lead.
Beyond Chelsea (working title), will see stars Binky Felstead, Rosie Fortescue, and Lucy Watson return to our screens for a candid look into their lives beyond the show.
Made In Chelsea first hit screens in 2011 and quickly gained fans for its drama-filled look at the lives of London’s 20-something socialites. Over its 26-season run, viewers have witnessed tears, scandals and glamorous parties.
But now, the trio will share all that comes with life in their thirties, including marriage, motherhood, and the BTS of running their respective businesses.
Rosie, Binky and Lucy were cemented as household names from the show even after they departed between 2014 and 2017. Between them, the former MIC stars have over 3million social media followers.
Felstead expressed her enthusiasm for the project, saying: “A lot has changed since I first joined Made in Chelsea 14 years ago. I’ve moved out of Chelsea, married my wonderful husband and welcomed three beautiful children. I’m incredibly proud of Beyond Chelsea, a project I’ve been passionate about doing for a long time.”
Fortescue added: “I never thought I’d be back on camera, but I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to film with my best friend, set some records straight and open up my life a little more than I did in the past.”
Watson, echoed similar sentiments:”After leaving Made in Chelsea, I never imagined returning to reality TV. However, after 8 years it turns out I actually quite miss it! I’m excited to be a part of a new show, albeit nervous to share so much about my life once again.”
Beyond Chelsea will air on E4 and be available for streaming on Channel 4 later this year.
