Next week on EastEnders, Yolande has another dramatic week that turns everything on its head, Alfie has another job problem, and Bianca continues to turn the screws with Reiss.

1. Yolande has to face Pastor Clayton

The Harvest Festival celebrations at the Community Centre are set to get under way, but Yolande is unsure about whether she wants to get involved. But she finds the motivation she needs when she hears that another woman has come forward about Pastor Clayton.

While at the Community Centre, Stella arrives and tries to push Yolande into changing her statement against her husband. But while Yolande stands her ground, she later finds herself forced to face the man himself inside her own home…

2. Tommy causes big problems

Tommy decides to skip school for the day and the news makes it back to Kat and Alfie, who are furious and realise something must be done.

Alfie shuts up shop at the bookies to head to the café with Tommy to try and make him see sense – but the decision to do so costs him his job.

Tommy feels guilty and presents a changed attitude as a result, but how long will he be able to keep it up?

3. Bianca keeps tabs on Reiss

Bianca remains convinced that Reiss is up to no good and is determined to make sure that Sonia gets released from prison, and she has a plan up her sleeve to get the result she wants.

Reiss is keen for her not to be around when the details of Debbie’s will are read out, but after spotting him with a mysterious letter, Bianca decides to eavesdrop on the conversation so she hears all the details. And when she hears Debbie’s requests, she is glad that she stuck around…

4. Cindy is drawn to Junior again

Cindy gives Anna a push to spend some time with Freddie and to rebuild their friendship in the wake of Bobby’s departure. Anna agrees and the pair end up heading out to do some bird watching which appears to bring them closer together.

Unfortunately, Ian is none too pleased when he spots them together and his vocal annoyance drives Cindy to head off for another illicit encounter with Junior…

5. Yolande gets shocking news

Pastor Clayton tries to persuade Yolande to change her statement, but she is adamant that will not be happening and stands up to him – before Denzel forces him to leave her home.

While Yolande finds strength in herself after standing her ground against her attacker, she soon gets some news that leaves her rattled when the police arrive – Pastor Clayton has died by suicide.

6. Bianca steps up her plan

After spying on Debbie’s will reading, Bianca makes her way to the café to speak to Brenda and Hugh about Reiss and Debbie’s marriage – hoping to learn more that can help Sonia.

Despite some reservations from Kat, who thinks that Bianca may need to seek medical help, Bianca powers on with her plan and takes Freddie’s microphone so she can record what she hopes will be a confession from Reiss.

7. Yolande struggles to deal with events

The news of Pastor Clayton’s suicide is tough for Yolande to accept, and her family gather around to make sure that she has the support she needs to process the shocking turn of events.

But there is a confronting conversation on the horizon for Yolande when she gets another visit from a grieving Stella. What does she want from Yolande now, and will Yolande ever be able to find closure?

8. George and Kojo bond

George remains determined to form a bond with Kojo, but everything that he tries to do seems to only make the process that much more difficult.

But he seems to turn a corner next week when he agrees to show Kojo the ropes behind the bar at the Vic, and the two finally begin to connect. Have the pair finally made a connection?

9. Bianca gets closer to the truth

Armed with the microphone and ready to get the truth out of Reiss, Bianca puts the next stage of her plan into action – getting the murderer drunk.

It seems that her scheme is set to pay off when an intoxicated Reiss begins to open up about some of the secrets that he has been keeping. But the arrival of Freddie looks set to put a wrinkle in Bianca’s plans…

10. Junior may want more from Cindy

After they have some fun together at Beale’s Eels, Cindy and Junior are nearly caught in the act by Ian, so they decide to head off to a hotel together so they can be assured of some privacy.

But it appears that Junior may want more than just casual encounters with Cindy when he asks her to have lunch with him and is clearly disappointed when she turns him down. Is this situation set to get even more complicated, and how long can they keep the truth from Ian and George?

11. Tommy tries to help Alfie

Given that he played no small part in Alfie losing his job at the bookies, Tommy works to try and fix the problem by arranging for his dad to have an interview for the managers job at the Minute Mart.

But there are surprises for Alfie at the interview, and some details that make him think twice about accepting the position. And as for Tommy, has he really turned over a new leaf, or is his nice guy persona merely just an act?

EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
