Aaron Taylor-Johnson proved he really could be the next James Bond after he shared hunky beach snaps reminiscent of Daniel Craig in the film Casino Royale.
The Kick Ass star, 34, took to Instagram on Tuesday to document a recent loved-up trip with director Sam, 57.
But as he flaunted his gym-honed torso while posing by the ocean, he looked eerily similar to those iconic images of Bond actor Daniel, 56, back in 2006 – amid reports Aaron has been offered to take over the role.
Fans of the English star will remember the scene from the movie where a very-buff-looking Daniel emerges from the sea in the Bahamas.
And as Aaron puffed away on a cigarette and enjoyed the sea views while on holiday with his love, his fit physique exuded the energy of Daniel’s in the motion picture.

The snaps come after reports Aaron has been offered to play the new James Bond – taking over from Daniel.
The Sun reported the British actor had been ‘formally offered the opportunity to play James Bond’, putting an end to months of speculation regarding Daniel Craig ‘s successor.
But insiders denied reports that he has been cast as the new Bond in the 007 movies, leaving speculation to swirl.
Responding to the rumours he could step into Bond’s shoes last week, Aaron played coy, telling Numero: ‘I find it charming and wonderful that people see me in that role. I take it as a great compliment.’
A poll commissioned by Lottoland carried out among 2,000 British Bond fans, saw Luther star Idris Elba top the list of stars they’d like to see take over.
Meanwhile Tom Hardy, Henry Cavill and the Oscar-winning man with the golden gong, Cillian Murphy, also featured on the 20-strong list.
The long-running Bond franchise is famous for turning those who play the secret agent into global superstars.

And it isn’t shy of casting left-field stars to take on the role; the late Sean Connery, one of the most recognisable Bonds, had only featured in a series of TV films when he accepted the role of the titular British spy in 1962’s Dr. No, catapulting him to international fame.
But while Idris was the top choice, fans may end up disappointed after the actor ruled himself out of playing the role last year so he could focus on his deal with Netflix, where he is starring in Luther: The Fallen Sun.
The actor brought up the persistent discussions about him taking over as Ian Fleming’s famed British spy in February 2023.
He had been the bookies’ favourite to replace Daniel, as the super spy, but is keen to pursue other roles – and has even put forward a list of proposed names to producer Barbara Broccoli of actors to play 007.
Aaron began acting as a child and has seen his career go from strength to strength, with three huge film appearance this year alone.
He has previously been nominated for two BAFTAs and previously won Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globes for Nocturnal Animals.

His biggest upcoming role will see him rejoin the superhero universe, as he will be playing the titular role in Kraven the Hunter, the fifth film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe – which lands in cinemas on December 13.
It is the first time Sony Pictures has restricted a Marvel feature to only fans aged over 18 and, as attendee Rob Keyes tweeted, it’s because Aaron’s titular character bit the flesh off a poacher and spat it out in the sneak peek.
Marvel did previously release the R-rated Logan and Deadpool movies, but Sony always rated their prior Marvel movies (Tom Holland-led Spidey flicks, Venom, and Morbius) PG-13.
Aaron beat out Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves, John David Washington and Adam Driver for the multi-picture role of the fur-wearing, big-game hunter and Russian conservationist Sergei Kravinoff.
