Eamonn Holmes has returned to the UK with his girlfriend Katie Alexander, after reports Ruth Langsford has hired a ‘fierce’ divorce lawyer.
The GB News presenter, 64, was pictured at Heathrow Airport with Katie, 42, after a luxury Mediterranean cruise.
He followed Katie through the terminal in a wheelchair, after suffering from health issues in recent years.
Eamonn slipped three discs in his back in 2021, losing ‘full mobility’, and has spoken about his chronic pain and difficulty walking.
While the former This Morning presenter was wrapped up in a dark coat, and held his bag on his lap, Katie opted for a bright red jumper and white trousers, paired with black sandals.
Their return from holidaying together comes after reports Loose Women star Ruth has hired a ‘fierce’ divorce lawyer, according to The Sun.
The former couple split earlier this year after 14 years of marriage, with reports stating work commitments had resulted in them drifting in ‘different directions’.
It’s since been claimed that Ruth, 64, was left shocked over Eamonn’s holiday with his new partner.
A source told The Sun: ‘The cruise is just the latest proof of their closeness.
‘Katie has been telling pals she and Eamonn are going to be for keeps — and now everyone is starting to believe her.
‘Eamonn’s zest for her – the latest being this trip – has wowed Ruth and pals. He has found a new lease of life for sure. Everyone is amazed.’
It’s reported that Eamonn grew close to relationship counsellor Katie, who he reportedly first met on social media in 2015, after his split from Ruth.
After false rumours that Eamonn and Katie were engaged last month, it was claimed Eamonn contacted Ruth to quash the speculation and protect her feelings.
Ruth and Eamonn married in 2010, 13 years after they first started dating, and share a son called Jack, who was born in 2002.
